LeFevre Quartet, performed for the student body of the 2009 Stamps Baxter School of Music held at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN.  The Stamps Baxter School has been one of the leaders through the years for helping to develop new talent and prepping new singers and musicians for professional careers in Christian music.  Among Stamps Baxter alumni, is David Staton, lead vocalist for The LeFevre Quartet. While on stage, Staton recalled his years at Stamps Baxter School and how that time early in his life helped to shape what he now does in Christian music.  At the end of the concert, The LeFevre Quartet was thrilled to have living legend, Ben Speer join them on the song, Without Him.  “It was a great night”, according to Mike LeFevre, “We are so used to singing to more middle age to senior crowds, it was great to see young kids who love and want a career in southern gospel music”.
